OSHA 10 General Industry
This course for personnel covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. The 10-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards in a workplace. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 20 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach DOL course completion card within 4-6 weeks.
